Griffin & Wells Cafe': A Culinary Gem in Enumclaw Offering Authentic Indian and Seafood Delights

I tried their coconut chicken curry. It was served with rice and naan. It was excellent! This was my first time trying a curry dish. I'm hooked now. The spice level was just right. We also tried their samosas. They were very good.

What a great Indian/ Seafood restaurant. The space is small however cozy with warm teals, terracotta accents, and dark wooden furniture accents with a bar at the end. I do wish they could utilize an outside space. It was such a nice day outside. This was our first visit. We chose from their Indian menu. We ordered the Butter Chicken and Coconut Chicken curry. It was soooo good. The naan-thick and delicious. Their curries- creamy, hot and full of flavor. Jasmine rice- fluffy, perfectly cooked. They are generous with their serving size. At first glance-size can be deceiving, it looks like a small serving size but then 1/3 way through you are so full, but it’s sooo good. It was difficult to stop. Warning: food maybe gone before you can take a photo for google reviews. ;) We loved our dinner and already made plans to come back to try the seafood side of the menu.

Very good food. Especially their Indian dishes. We had the butter chicken which was very good, not spicy at all. We also had the spinach ravioli in Alfredo sauce with chicken which was pretty good. Comfortable, cozy interior! Very inviting.

Amazing! Best butter chicken and naan we have ever tasted. (And this is coming from a city dwelling foodie who orders Indian takeout on a regular basis). Was so pleased to discover this gem of a restaurant in Enumclaw- perfect place to stop for a heart homey authentic Indian dinner on the way home from Crystal. We had the samosas (delish), desi style NY steak, shrimp biryani and butter chicken. All the dishes were cooked to perfection, but the butter chicken was by far the standout. Next time I’m afraid we will all be ordering the same dish- it was that good!

We finally tried this charming place. There were two of us but we both had two different dining experiences. I let’s start with the positive, the service was wonderful! I ordered off of the Indian menu and hands down, their buttered chicken was spectacular! They need to sell their sauce! And the naan! OMG! I’m still thinking about it! The only negative is the seafood. We had the clams and my husband had the scallops and mushrooms. I feel that if they avoid all seafood, this place with the new owners will thrive. Honestly, I’ll eat their Indian food All. Day. Long! I would love for it to be only Indian.

The Indian food is where it’s at. I didn’t realize they served Indian food until I read the other reviews. We enjoyed the Saag Paneer, coconut chicken curry, and samosas. All were delicious! What an awesome hidden gem in Enumclaw. If you like Indian food, check it out!
